809 on the 29, again, from yesterday (not sure if all day, overtook my bus in the morning). Also, 4368 on the 24, again.

In addition, there were three outbound 24's (together) on Harborne High St - E400H, E400 & Trident. Variety much? Haha!

Trident 4609

Harborne High St services have been on diversion today due to the annual Harborne Carnival taking place.  Diversion into City has been from War Lane right into Harborne Park Rd down to Metchley Lane then up Metchley Lane up to the Green Man then right onto Harborne Rd back to normal line of route.

The Network West Midlands site said the diversion would be Harborne Park Rd, St Mary's Rd, Abbey Rd and Metchley Lane to the Green Man. Did they follow the route above then? Probably makes more sense to be honest.

I also saw a 22 come the other way (out of city) following the same diversion.

I think E200s on the 29/29A are becoming more common these days. Been past my bus at Colmore Row from Thursday. Not too sure about Saturday or Sunday. Mainly Weekdays...

Anyone know the PVR of the 99? One and sometimes two E200s have regularly been on other routes lately but I've not seen anything other than E200s on the 99.

7 I think.

20 minute frequency / 2hr 20 round trip = 7.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Thanks LS, makes sense then, 2 spares. They must manage to get the full complement of these washing machines on fast spin out on the road pretty regularly then.

It is a bit like PEs examples for the 222, 6 buses for 6 boards!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Unfortunately so! Get the old Zanussi around Welsh House Farm and wake everybody up with their terrible drum spin speed...

I digress..

Bring back the B6's, PE 200's are hateful things, what do the other drivers on here think of them? I know @Liverpool Street makes his views quite clear!
