I agree myself i think the 65 and the 7 (and (eventually the 96) should get the hydrogens
Why would a single-deck route (96) get double-decker Hydrogens ?

The 12s, 48s and 89 are big enough routes for platinum status surely?

Apart from the tridents, the 97 gets the standard allocation that most BC routes get, Enviro 400s
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Yeah the 97 just has the standard BC allocation alongside the branded alx400s

For the first point i guess the main issue for those routes is that they arent main trunk routes which the platinums mainly are on especially since the 89 is getting curtailed to bearwood next month

Seeing as the X1 now has electrics are they actually capable of 60mph?

No, but neither are the vast majority of buses, so not sure what difference it makes

Probably not as iirc as any bus limited to 62mph needs a tacho so they most likely are limited to the same speed the mmcs are.

You can limit buses to 60 and not need a tacho, but in general all NX buses are limited to 50, there are a few exceptions.

7529 worked the 2315 to Coventry and presumably the non tracking return journey at 0020 arriving to Birmingham at 0122 - some sort of flaw causing some post midnight trips to not track on three nights of the week, something to do with the timetable being 'different' from the day before I guess?.
