Just installed a rather nice soundpack for my Citaro :P

Sounds very authentic. Am I the only one who draws parallels between the O.405N's and the Lynx's?

Nah A lot of people have said that, especially the older mercs. Personally I think the Ultras were underrated when they were around, 1511 especially sounded very lynx like and to a degree the Ultras had more similarities looks wise too.

Sorry for the delay in uploading this one, it is the same bus and soundpack but different sounds (you get 2 in the same pack) To me it sounds like a cross between a Walsall B7RLE, a Lance and a Citaro but that's just my ears :P

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Great Grundorf 2 is finally out! O.o http://omsi2.com/downloads/great-grundorf-2.html LS There aren't really any new decent buses out yet, but there is a new pack coming soon that will contain not only an articulated Euro 6 citaro but also a Euro 2 0405GN :P It'll be a payware though.

Are you doing omisi on YouTube If so they're great

trident4370

I do have a couple of amateur videos on my channel but probably won't be putting anymore up now.

I think that OMSI 2 is great -- though the only main improvement as far as I am concerned is the addition of the bendy bus!

Just looking through AussieX.org Forum, and someone's decided to build an E200! HK Version, obviously, slightly inaccurate, but it looks stunning...

Not sure if he's on here himself, but there's a guy on AussieX named 'twmmcw' who does all sorts of mods and repaints for the OMSI buses. Although, I do think they're quite rough. I can't complain, I don't know how tot do any of it myself... :P

He has been making mods for a while now, hes even used some of my videos and ive provided him with interior photos to make seat patterns with. Hopefully once someone has got to the bottom of Sutton Coldfield not working on Omsi 2, Ill become a bit more active in the omsi world again! (Im itching to add 934/5/6 and X51 onto that map!)

@trident4370, Yes. I have seen your named being credited in most of his works, well done! Imagine if there was a mod, where you ARE a driver with real life scenarios... Examples:
- Leaving your home to your depot
- Finding your bus (selected at start of game)
- Vehicle Check, etc, etc...

Wouldn't that be great? There's something to make our driving experience more lfelike... On Playglobe, there's a program (downloadable app) called 'OMSILive' - It's still currently being updated constantly, but it's meant to be like your own operator, with a budget, rotas, etc... Quite fascinating really.

There is an option to make "Situations" for Omsi, when loading some maps give you the option of choosing a Situation. The trouble is I believe the actual capabilities Omsi has is very limited so you could in theory have a scenario where you take over a bus at a certain point late or whatever but if you wanted to have a diversion or a day of private hires, I don't think it is possible although tbh I haven't properly examined situations since Omsi 2 so it may have been improved in the upgrade. As for playglobe I don't get involved with them anymore, let's just say the management are a bunch of prats and leave it at that!
