a slightly ironic one here saw a 51 branded on the X51 and X51 branded on the 51

Today? 4684 is parked in Walsall garage; 4685 (X51-01) & 4686 (X51-02) are both on the X51

I was actually looking for them when I was on X51 to Birmingham and later in the afternoon back to Walsall. I didn't see them.

You should have done
4685 completed all its scheduled duties right up until the 18:30 from Birmingham
4686 was out all day right up until the 19:00 from Birmingham

Yes, Just checked the history for all of 4684-6. Today all 3 only did X51s no journeys on any other routes

Yesterday 4684 did X51s; 4685 did X51s and 3 journeys on the 301; 4686 did X51s and the 701 (which is on an X51 running board) so neither day was there an X51 branded bus on the 51

EDIT: Still on the 59 at present. Half the time they are changed for tridents even on Sunday nights)
