Must be a pain if the bus lays over at the terminus point for several minutes but your stop to get off is 2 or 3 stops further on.

That was the same with the 952 before the North Birmingham Review. Layover on Hassop Rd for 10 minutes, if you wanted to carry on and get off on Thornbridge Ave, when it used Beeches Rd to get to Hassop Rd. Now it used Thornbridge Ave in both directions

Not too dissimilar to a route familiar to both of us LS, the 24, insofar as it's a normal route but finishes with a large terminus loop in one direction only. How long is layover on these types of routes? Must be a pain if the bus lays over at the terminus point for several minutes but your stop to get off is 2 or 3 stops further on.

Ahh, I was gonna say that Mike but wasn't sure if it was on the same scale, distance wise.

And its open door policy on the 24 as well. Terrible. Hate that rule.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Yes 59 is like that with a 1 way loop around Ashmore Park

What's open door policy in that context LS? Whilst on layover at the terminus you have to let people on even before it's time to set off?

Trident 4609

Same type of thing happens on WN2 at Bushbury where on sunday there is roughly 10minutes layover but usually lets passengers on even with 8 minute layover

1616 was on the 222 this morning, but saw it in Stourbridge this evening, on the 276!

Can only assume a bus broke down on the 276, at Merry Hill or Dudley, and 1616 had just finished on the 222 so took over

Does Wolverhampton routes 25 and 27 interwork, because I saw 1672 on both today. If not, there is a vehicle swop.

4542 was on the 59 this morning but John took a photo of it on the 28 today

Nath saw 1642 on the 222 this morning but then I saw it on the X96 later on

Trident 4609

5514 on the 59 earlier but moved onto the 25/7 in the evening
5511 was on the 59 but moved onto the 126 tonight

nitromatt1

On Friday, 4815 started its day onto the 9, but was moved onto the 246, only for it to then turn up on the 140/241 by late afternoon, right through to the end of service!

John

4196 was on the 246 today. It then got swapped for an O405N at 3.10 pm that came from garage in Stourbridge and then 4196 worked a 9 into Birmingham
