256/257 interwork in Stourbridge. The 255 does a trip from Wolverhampton, to Merry Hill, then to Wall Heath on the 255E, back to Merry Hill and then a full 255 back to Wolverhampton

Oh Right. I thought the 256/255 interworked in WN my bad  8)

5510 was taken off the 59 and put onto the 255 around 17:30 in Wolverhampton this evening!

I Didn't know journeys on the 59 did 255/256 journeys ?

The 255 and 256 don't interwork

When replacement buses are needed, they are usually taken off the 59 as it is the most frequent WN route.

Ohh I see thanks.

Weekdays, 255 and 255E interwork at Merry Hill, and the 256 and 257 interwork at Stourbridge

Sundays, 255 and 255E still interwork at Merry Hill, 256 runs on its own, 257 is run by Arriva

Roy

There is some early morning and evening interworking between the 255 and 256 at Wolverhampton.  For instance, the 1805 255 from Merry Hill to Wolverhampton then operates the 1915 256 to Stourbridge.

Yep, and another I think, to make up for the gaps when the NXWM 257 service stops and Arriva takes over around 7 o'clock

They don't but with the 59 being rediculously frequent you can take buses off to replace broken down buses on other routes

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Is the 59 circular?

Technically it is as it loops Ashmore Park but there is a designated terminus on Ashmore Park estate

I wondered that as it is shown on Centro's site as just a single timetable, no out and return.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Oh I see, just the way the time table is structured it looks like a mini 11C. How long is one journey? Is that 55minutes in the peak?

And is it clockwise or anti clockwise round the park?

Weird timetable.

No really it is run as a normal service. Also on the running boards its a circlular. It runs clockwise up Griffiths Drive. Actually given just given over an hour at peak and weekday daytime

(Sorry about the quotes I don't know what went wrong)

And I don't get how that's done as surely E has to be put up especially?

Not too dissimilar to a route familiar to both of us LS, the 24, insofar as it's a normal route but finishes with a large terminus loop in one direction only. How long is layover on these types of routes? Must be a pain if the bus lays over at the terminus point for several minutes but your stop to get off is 2 or 3 stops further on.
