Piece in the E&S one day last week saying Arriva were taking over the Saturday 81 - and I didn't see the 10.45 16 in Tamworth when looking for the 766.

I'd seen Excels on the 16 in the past, when one arrived about 15 late and shot off empty and the next was more or less on time.  Staffordshire CC website has the 81 taken over at the beginning of January.

Decision in this weeks N&P - Tamworth Bus and Coach and Heartlands revoked, Val's and Acorn on a  warning and Michael James declared unfit to be a transport manager.

As well as some DDs in what appeared to be Heartland's livery, some red and white ones have been in the yard nearest the WCML recently - I think they hold dealer stock there?
