I'm sure O405Ns are ok on the 83/89 because the frequency of each is half hourly. If they were more frequent than half hourly, then yes they would need replacing

4117 was a beast, gonna miss that one. Im guessing 4116 and 4119 will also be going up? And when will the next transfers of any type be happening?

The 83 and 89 are two separate services though, each with a frequency of 30 mins (two buses per hour), though they are timed to provide a 15 min frequency. The 31A is a variant of the 31, so they are essentially the same service, so they fall foul of the emission ruling.

Why didn't they use Presidents on the 127/128/129 then, which has the same principles as the 83/89?
