Not that I'm aware of yet.

Don't forget, this isn't a 'ten minute job' - it requires several hours of labour as the interior body has to be opened up in order to fit the additional wiring, as well as to install the displays and speakers.

I would be interested to know how much the equipment itself costs, and how much time and labour it takes to 'retrofit' these, especially on vehicles that will already be up to ten years old and may not have many more usable years left in service.

While I appreciate the value that 'next stop' audio/visual announcements have for travelling passengers, especially those with accessibility needs, I am concerned that this is another 'operational cost' being shouldered by bus operators, and I am not surprised that some smaller operators are choosing to renew their fleets early - with new vehicles that are 'compliant' with the regulations from the factory.

Isn't this being funded by local transport authority's, as it's become a regularity for buses?

With the screens though wouldnt that be a better option to provide next stops and other (such as the e400evs) info other than the 2 lined NSAs used on e400mmcs?

No, there is £4.65m worth of funding available from the Government but this is intended to help smaller operators:
https://www.rtig.org.uk/aig

Larger companies/groups would be expected to fund this themselves.
