VERY Late running services

1834 which is on time and 1845 which is 30 minutes late running together on the 39

1843 yesterday left about 50 minutes late on the 39 got to Darlaston and terminated, most passengers got onto 1883 on the 39 behind, the driver then changed the blind to the 39 to Walsall. These Roadworks on the Walsall Road are causing some big delays

Took 6995 20  minutes to get from Foley Road to Wagoners Close at 15:00 today due to temporary lights on the Washwood Heath Road

Believe somthing happened on the Alum Rock Road tonight. As 7517 was stuck there for half an hour.
Heard the diversion Washwood Heath Road & Highfield Road on the radio while I was on the 94.

Yes there was an accident with 3 cars. Thankfully no one was injured

It's the weekend in Alum Rock. Exactly the same as it has been for the past 20 years.

Just arrived home from a journey on the 97 that took longer than expected...

There was some temporary lights on the Heartlands Hospital roundabout on Bordesley Green Road, but there didn't appear to be any actual changes to the roundabout itself (I may be wrong as it was getting dark). It ended up with six 97/A buses effectively one after another along Bordesley Green Road which is by far the most I've seen together at one time.

One chap that got on before Heartlands said that he was on the rearmost bus and bolted to get on our bus, which was the 2nd one in the queue. Think that says it all really 😅

Overall lateness wasn't too bad for the rearmost buses but for the ones at the front, 4919 on the 97 was around 50 minutes late whilst 7527 on the 97A was approaching an hour late (times are via Bustimes so it may be inaccurate). I know the 97 route does get pretty jammed some evenings but this is the worst I've seen it for a while.

Ruins the whole point of having a roundabout really 

Must be something to do with the gasworks that have been going on along the bus lane towards the city. They probably go through the roundabout in someway or another and they probably need to rip parts of it up. Still though, not the greatest time or place to have temporary lights but needs must I guess...

1E's are normal Been a long time since I caught it so not sure at about 5PM but at 3 or 4 it is normal as an additional School Bus

79 and 39 running late due to Roadworks on the Moxley Island took 5421 26 minutes to get from Bilston it left at 15:32 4 minutes late to get to Darlaston at 15:56, it got to the Moxley area at 15:44 and it still took another 12 minutes to get from there I think it was the War Memorial to Darlaston. The 39 that got to Darlaston around the same time left Stowlawn a few minutes late just after 15:27 and then got to Darlaston at 4PM that's over 30 minutes. Not sure what there doing or how long it is on for, but I expect to see a 79E's to Darlaston and Wednesbury rocking up over the next week or so.

2100 is on the 7 running randomly about 30 minutes late , not sure what happened, it ran normal earlier in the morning

I expect WA34 to be running late later due to temporary traffic lights on Wolverhampton Street just past Thomas Moore School that area at 3PM Gets Really Busy, so gonna delay that and the school buses that go that way
