For passengers at Westwood Business Park, National Express Coventry will be extending service the 12X (Coventry to Warwick University) to Westwood Business Park via Prior Deram Walk every 30 minutes

To replace the 2/2A

This might be something for the 'redundant' 2/2A drivers to do, but does WBP really need a half-hourly service for 17 hours a day oddly increasing to every 20 mins on a Sunday daytime, yes this now provides a daytime link from the Uni to Canley (Deram Park) which is already offered in the evenings and Sundays but the 14 could have been tweaked to provide this as well as maintain the lost link from Cannon Park to Canley leaving the 12X to just do a frequent peak hour service to WBP.
The old 10A and 19 services a few years back offered WBP with a half-hourly daytime service but came and went, this improved offering may look good on paper but can we expect it to last and could it be a precursor for removing the 18A? - I suppose it won't be too long until something here changes again.

Looking at TfWM's route map the 12X from 05 January seems to loop around Prior Deram Walk and then return via Charter Ave & Kirby Corner Rd
https://www.tfwm.org.uk/plan-your-journey/find-a-timetable/#/route/cen_4112X_C_H_y11_8-8?direction=Inbound&when=0

If correct the 12X does not look like it will directly serve Westwood Bus Park to me as it would need to also zoom along Westwood Way but not according to the map? Perhaps they are talking about the nearby Student Accomodation on KC Rd?

Could there also be quite some late running expected in the peaks as that section of the A45 can get jammed up?

The map on the TFWM website only shows the current route.

If you look at the timetable, you'll see it will go along Westwood Way and back again, and doesn't serve Kirby Corner Road any more.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Thks, that caught me out! - you would think the TfWM website would show the correct map linked to the date of the timetable selected ?
