Saw 2136 being towed at The Bell towards city wonder where it's going.

What's happening with 4628/31/32 which transferred from Wolverhampton as I've not seen them out recently. Also haven't seen 3303 for long time and 4125 hasn't been out too.

Buses need maintenance, especially older ones, and sometimes older parts are more difficult to get.

Loads of buses spend time off the road

Jack

4595 and 4599 both on X51.

Nice to see these out so as they can keep the white elephants safely tucked up in the garage getting flats on the tyres, must be the most environmentally friendly buses ever built, don't use any fuel, don't produce brake dust, don't leave any rubber on the road, never use any water as never need cleaning

The point is that it is not the fault of NX is it ?
They are owned by Birmingham City Council which is surely where the responsibility of them lies, but the continued bashing of them is not necessary.
I'm sure NX would love to run them 7 days, but they can't so that's it!

So why can't they run 20 X 7 days a week, that's the problem with this country CAN'T is used as the easy option to often

You'll never run 20 7 days a week, even perfectly reliable buses need maintenance and inspections.

Whilst that's a perfectly valid response to the question posed, everyone here knows what was being asked or implied.
Someone earlier referred to them as white elephants. They're not only that, but seemingly they're also white elephants in the room.
'Nobody mention the war!'

My comment is tongue in cheek sarcasm but running 17 might be something to aim for

Unusual to see double deckers being used on a Sunday on the 10 service to Brownhills.

Just saw a trident heading up to Walsall garage. Didn't catch the number though. Is this coming to Walsall garage for service?
