Quote from: Justin Tyme on June 27, 2024, 09:09:47 AMI would imagine that last year NX found there was a bit of a drop-off in passengers from the start of June.

Universities are winding down, maybe school exams mean fewer peak time passengers.  And, just a guess, but maybe more working people are taking holidays/leave in June?
Also this Year the Olympics, Euros, Glastonbury, Wimbledon also means parents might be taking kids off school. They shouldn't be they do. I've seen loads of English and Scottish Kids at the Euros all of whom will get fined. Some Colleges also finish early depending on your course.

Quote from: Mayfield on June 27, 2024, 08:25:01 AMWhy reduce in June when the schools don't finish until mid July
Traffic get lighter from June as more people are on holiday so timings can be reduced.

A lot of university students don't travel in June

6771 on the 529 appears to have broken down in Walsall Bus Station on stand, causing other 529's to depart from adjacent stands, eg 6763 had to depart from the 32 stand, which caused a slight problem, when that first bus turned up, with 6763 having to leave the bus station early & having to wait the rest of his time at the Wharf Bar stop instead.

(I'd just missed that 32 at Leamore, with a Diamond 31 following shortly afterwards, eventually the 31 beating the 32 by a couple of minutes, which enabled me to catch 6763!)

Running now but yes it seems to have been there for about a hour.

6868 has broken down by BrindleyPlace metro (inbound) and there's a tram stuck behind.

Looks like service may be limited after corporation street.

According to TfWM, the disruption is due to an ambulance blocking the tramway just beyond Grand Central meaning services are only running between Wolves and Grand Central. Not sure if thats related to 6868.

Is there a day when there isnt something affecting the Metro?
