The Real 4777

With the greatest respect, I was stood in Miller Street not an hour prior to compiling that post. I suggest that folk refrain from implying others are making up misinformation.

All 7 branded buses are gone, with 4818, 4819 and 4820 leaving the fleet.

busboy31

4822 and 4823 now withdrawn, but 4823 was put in USB power instead of being withdrawn!!!

busboy31

We are just down to 2, 4815 and 4827, because 4800/3/4 have been withdrawn

4318 was the one for me. Fortunately 4967 is a more than capable replacement, best E40D I've been on

4768 is back out saw it on the 80, almost had to double take, any news on 4740?

[EDIT]: it may have been 4769, my bad, is there any update on 4740 and 4758?
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

4740 is unlikely to run again.

Nothing outstanding about 4758

Yeah, all the BX09s have left the fleet now after 15 years.

Remember seeing the lot shortly after they entered service, sat outside a pub in Broad Street over a couple of pints/ afternoons.

It's pleasing to note that although my dream (which I posted about on here) of the whole batch transferring to WB was at least partially true, in that two of them went there for a week or so!! Is the next step for 4718 etc to go there (or maybe get withdrawn) when YW gets its electrics?!!
Bustimes.org - armchair bus chasing at its best
wmbusphotos.com - armchair bus spotting and news at its best.

I'd imagine withdrawing Euro six double deckers is not a priority at the moment.
