Yes he is prohibited from being TM until 2027. However wouldn't even being involved in a new license application even though he would not be TM have an adverse influence on any decision to grant a new license?

That's why I'm confused by the wording  - if he pays his penalty fines before they cease operating, he can apply for another licence - very odd.

No he can't at least not as TM. Thats why the license application lists someone else as TM. What would concern the licensing authority is that he's listed as being a director of the new company.  Any new license would surely have a clause preventing Mr Chumber from day to day involvement I would have thought.

Given their recent performance, and one of the reasons they were in front of the traffic commissioner, I wouldn't bank on it LOL!

Gonna be interesting to see where their current fleet ends up, and the old darts they still have in storage as was said in a post here recently

A new license has been applied for with Mr Chumber as Director and a new Transport Manager (see earlier post)  so we may see Travel Express return later this year.

So in other words, he gets knocked down, & might get up again?

(And he'll probably be singing, if he wins it!)

The one of them (T580 JTD) was an absolute beast and deserved to be saved, the rest of them had all seen better days.

It seems Mr Chumbar is still gracing his presence on the 1 and the 11 this morning.
