Kidderminster will be removing the following buses from service in due course, they will be replaced directly / indirectly by the 10 extra ex First streetlites that have been acquired for Diamond WM (See Diamond Bus - Discussion thread)

31421 Is an absolute nail. Was stuck behind this thing doing 10pm up drews Holloway. Shame they won't be withdrawing this one rather than solos that actually have some go in them

Oh it's still the same then, I remember when I was working at Redditch last year myself and an inspector had that particular bus on the X20 we finished in Hockley Heath and ran private back to Redditch (roughly around 20 mins) it was the slowest 20 minutes you could ever imagine even the inspector who was driving commented on how awful it was

Oh I can remember when 20734 was at Tividale (before it transferred to Kidderminster), I was on it the once on the 142 and that's when the 142 went to the Q.E. (there's a throwback!) anyway it turned left out of Rosemary Road (when the 142 went that way *originally*) and you have a tiny bit of straight road and the driver put his foot down and I can remember to this day it made a hellfire noise and was going quite well! Very sad that's it's now gone to make baked beans tins (etc)

One, 20731 I think, was the regular bus on service 61 (wolves - goldthorn park) which Diamond took over as an emergency contract following the demise of iGO. It was much better than the other Diamond Solos,  especially the 21 seaters which were used elsewhere.
