Looks like 30965 must have broke down on Comberton Road. As 21102 came out as a change bus to run the final 15 trip of the day.

Are the current timetables for the 8, 292 and 125 set so they all end up back in Kidderminster at roughly the same time? Driving back to the yard last Friday from Cleobury Mortimer, I ended up passing the 125 and 292 by Kidderminster hospital, and was passing the 8 on the ring road. Dunno if that was intentional or not. I think it was sometime around 1030-1100.

The 8 doesn't run anymore. It's the 1 now

Between 16:25 & 16:35 at least a lot of buses are due out at that time. In that 10 minute time frame you can see the 15A, 294, 303, 1, 3, 52, 125, 25A all in the bus station sometimes.

Did that change last weekend? I'm sure it was the 8 I saw turning into the town centre.

Yes.
1 runs Rifle Range to Kidderminster circle only now.
125 serves Habberley.
292 uses Bewdley Hill in both directions & serves Bark Hill & Hales Park Estates.

The 1 has been using one of the mellors the last few days as well.

OK. I haven't been through Kidderminster this week yet (current route from Presteigne on a Wednesday seems to avoid Kidderminster because of traffic on the m6 I think). I'll see what occurs when I'm down there next.

30825 was on the 1 Rifle Range circular today.
Nice bus but massively oversized for the route perhaps when there was only a highest passenger loading of 4. But it needs the large vehicle as the 829 is on the running board.

Given the generally poor usage I'm surprised Diamond/WCC haven't reduced the frequency to hourly and tagged it onto another local service like the 10 or 15 somehow

Noticed someone has edited bus times saying 31418/19 have returned to Kidderminster Garage?

Are they there for service @Simon Dunn?

It is a Diamond staff member that's made those edits on Bustimes.

They will be for service.

Surprised the Streetlites are going & not the ageing volvo B7RLE which run on the busiest route at Kidderminster (number 3) or solos

Presumably down to Burton loosing the 1 and 12E but I was expecting the Scania's to go first as they are for sale.

21101 & 20164 were out on the 15 today instead of the usual mellor minibuses that are on there these days.

Wonder if there are any plans to use the open top trident again now the warmer days are here. Would be great on the 3/15/292 even 192 maybe?

The 3 would be the best option as there's no problem with running Double Deckers on it, and it would be easier to advertise the timings as most buses depart at the same minutes past each hour.

Out of intrest are there any known problems on the other 3 routes?

I know it was years ago but I think the 192 might have had Olympians on it, in its days at Central Connect/Go Ahead/Long Arce. & the 292 more recently I believe Green Bus have used deckers when they ran that way one summer as X92. Im not sure if the recently added Hales Park estates would make a difference though.

I guess it would have to be route/road tested first as well?
