It's the first time that bus has been out properly for over 2 years! It did come out on 25th November on the 97, but had a different problem to the original one and never carried any passengers

Would fit quite nicely at the stop on Jennens Road that's still showing 55. (Along with 53 and 94A)

NXWM drivers sometimes get a bad press on here for their customer service skills, but a shout out to the female driver of 6862 on the 18.38 23 from Colmore Row this evening. One of the cheeriest, most enthusiastic and helpful drivers I've seen in a long time. Not seen her on the 23/24 before. Maybe she's new and the enthusiasm will be beaten out of her within weeks

There was a particularly cheerful woman who used to drive the 98 and X64 regularly but I don't know if she still works at NX.

Yes and later on the X21/X22 and pre withdrawal X20.
Noticed 4628 is displaying 55 again today.

Also would be interesting to know why the tracking for 4877 seems to show the bus followed the full 94 route to chelmsley wood on that 12:48 trip. When it came onto the Priory Queeensway stop and drove off displaying not in service without picking anyone up. When having the correct display up is vital.

I would hazard a guess that as it was 14 minutes late for that departure, it ran dead to pick up service further along the route, possibly from Castle Bromwich.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Could be possibly. But seemingly didn't help it get back on time though if that was the case as it was still 15 minutes late at Castle Bromwich.

6949 which had a vehicle run in the back of it last August causing severe damage has just passed an MoT after repairs, so will be back out later this week for the first time in 6 months

Amazing. I wondering how long it was going to take before it came back into service, so it'll be good to see it later this week

So, no sign of the 7:00 X21 to City, and that one comes straight from garage too. I'm guessing this is what was meant by normal service.

EDIT: Well 4902 is now in City on the short to Weoley so it must have turned up eventually after I gave up and got the 76.

This is a first, I can only assume it broke down. I do wonder if the engineer parked it like this though.
