Didn't all know it was coming. The designer village owners put a wedge of money out to tender for operators to serve there and NX won the tender

Just the X51 or any other routes

Am I the only one who's surprised at how well the X51 is doing at the Cannock section?
How do you know it's doing so well?  Just because it's been routed to serve the Designer Outlet, doesn't necessarily mean it's doing well.

If it was doing well the Cannock section would either be cut back in frequency or withdrawn.

As a result of S106 funding from the McArthurGlen developers apparently. Hopefully enough people use it to ensure its sustainable to operate commercially once the funding runs out.

Hopefully it will build a structure for other services if its viable. For example a connection between Cannock and Lichfield which will both have Sunday services. I'm sure having connections helps passenger numbers. Cannock train station is walking distance from the village so a threat there for bus operators, to an extent.

Bloxwich to Birmingham on a Sunday without changing buses (once this 'crap' is over!)

That will do for me!

The last I heard unless something has changed is that the Sunday X51 will be Walsall - Cannock only

Not correct, it goes to Birmingham. As there is already a Birmingham-Walsall Sunday X51 why would you have two separate services?

How about possibly extending the 937 onwards from Brownhills West as well via the Chaserider 3?

Do you really think now is a good time to be spending hundreds of thousands of pounds a year competing?

Just a suggestion!

The Fox 4846

Will the X51 be rerouted via Turnberry Estate to provide a replacement service?
33 Asda Queslett via Perry Barr, Kingstanding, Pheasey
7 Sutton Coldfield via Witton, Perry Common, Boldmere
