Am I the only one who's surprised at how well the X51 is doing at the Cannock section?

How do you know it's doing so well?  Just because it's been routed to serve the Designer Outlet, doesn't necessarily mean it's doing well.

As a result of S106 funding from the McArthurGlen developers apparently. Hopefully enough people use it to ensure its sustainable to operate commercially once the funding runs out.

Hopefully it will build a structure for other services if its viable. For example a connection between Cannock and Lichfield which will both have Sunday services. I'm sure having connections helps passenger numbers. Cannock train station is walking distance from the village so a threat there for bus operators, to an extent.

The last I heard unless something has changed is that the Sunday X51 will be Walsall - Cannock only

Not correct, it goes to Birmingham. As there is already a Birmingham-Walsall Sunday X51 why would you have two separate services?

Not correct, it goes to Birmingham. As there is already a Birmingham-Walsall Sunday X51 why would you have two separate services?
