Quote from: 2206 on February 12, 2024, 05:23:13 PMI was on 6864 earlier this afternoon and the next stop announcement onboard display was blank while the vehicle was moving. When it came to a bus stop it came on briefly and then it turned off again similar to what @Materplan said above.
I noticed a few weeks ago 7522 was doing the same thing. So it might be a fault on some of the BC vehicles maybe @Tony?

No, what I said above was it was disappearing inbetween stops then all of a sudden it went to the generic NXWM screen before coming back on again only this time the NSA stayed on, which is why I asked if they could be fixed remotely.

I'm pretty sure 4929 had it when it was at West Bromwich, then went to Wolverhampton where I think it got repainted then went to Birmingham central I'm sure.

What route did the 96 take? (the 96 that was branded akin to the 97)

And why was the the 97 branded buses painted all over red when no other bus was?

ellspurs

The 96 used to leave Birmingham via Deritend, Bordesley Station, Coventry Road, Cattell Road (past the Blues ground) up to Bordesley Green then as 97 route to Chelmsley Wood, then as current 72 route to Bluebell Drive.

If you mean Trident 4177, that was an experimental trial livery that was never adopted:

4177 was one of a few 41** Tridents to have the Euro 4 engine as well as 4586/4619/4633/4

I knew it had something different to other Tridents in terms of Engine wasn't sure what. But yeah When 4633 and 34 were at WN and 4619 I did notice they sounded different
