452 has now vanished seemingly with no replacement.

How is it TGB can put non-compliant buses out on the 50 during the duration of the Commonwealth Games?

Also, TGB must have some of the oldest buses at Glasgow for Commonwealth Games shuttles, most other operators have supplied new or nearly new buses.

I know... If it was Thandi or GRS there would be outrage!!

Stagecoach London have sent tridents as well but other than them it is mostly new or nearly new buses eg NX enviros, reading Buses e400h's etc.

I phoned green bus if I can volunteer around the depot and they've kept my name and contact number in records and let me know when needed :)

Just seen it - perhaps went for a break earlier?

Not sure tbh, it Missed a whole trip out and was about 15 minutes late on the next one.

I took a look at the Olympian on the 50 today and thought 'I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed in the City Centre'. Will TGB receive a fine? A Euro 2 bus in the City Centre is one thing, but a step entrance one?

@Sh4318 I would assume so...

Some of TGB's older buses have particle boxes on, which convert the engines to a euro 3 hence why you see older buses from them in the city centre. Also TGB were supposed to send 15 buses to Glasgow for the commonwealth but have only managed to send 10! Personally I don't see TGB lasting much longer.

Really?! As much as I object to them using non low-floor buses on frequent city services, of course they will. The 50's doing ok, Private Hires plus Rail Reps to use the fleet during the daytime/school holidays and of course the school contracts which are the basis of their work.
