Tbh there isn't alot of traffic in merry hill on Sunday (maybe towards Christmas yes) but I doubt it'll impact it much. If the 002 can meet to timetable on Sunday, surely the X21 can too and they'll probably work in rest times at Merry Hill as the journey will probably take roughly an hour and a half. X21 is roughly 40 mins end to end on Sundays

I'm sure they currently interwork with the X22 on Sundays if I'm not mistaken, if so I'm guessing that won't be possible on the Merry Hill journeys.

Maybe you're right, Sundays might not be so bad. Problem would be if this was seen as successful and eventually replaced the 002 altogether.

I wouldn't hold your breath - 5505 hasn't tracked since November 2022. Is seemingly always at Hartshornes according to 'Buses away from home garages'. In fact a handful of the Volvo hybrids appear to be out of action?
