860 has the same reg as  Abellio 2467 E400H?

this is happening more and more, 4943 had to have its reg changed because it was incorrectly registered.

DVLA are getting useless!

'Getting' ?

Although I must say their audit department is very thorough!!

So how long now until WN's are in service?

It will still be a while yet, what's not to say Walsall will get theirs first, theoretically these will be delivered this week with the possibility of more so a plausible timescale would be the end of the month until all are in use

As 840 onwards are for WN at least these four will surely be in service in the next week or so?

837 is the only oustanding one at West Bromwich. All of 840-3 should have been delivered to WN yesterday

Are the new Alexander Dennis vehicles arriving so quickly to avoid import/export taxes, if there is a yes vote on the 18th?
Deliveries seem much quicker than usual. Will they have to be reregistered with English plates?

Nope, because if there is a"yes" vote Scotland won't leave the UK immediately, all the issues will have to be thrashed out first, so it will take some time.

It might become an issue over the course of the NX/ADL deal though, if ADL become a foreign company and with whatever trade arrangements will be in place.

They said on the tv earlier, that Independence is likely to happen around mid 2016 if it is voted for.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

If there is a 'yes' vote next week, Scotland wouldn't become an independent country until 2018 anyway, so four years away.

The deal with ADL has already been done, so I can't see anything being affected by this. NXWM dealt with Wrightbus for years, who were based in Ireland, not part of the UK.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Wrightbus are from Northern Ireland which is part of the UK not the Republic of Ireland.

Wrightbus are based in the UK, Most Ballymena residents would be upset if you said they weren't
