Can we assume that the 7xx series buses being registered YY means they were built at Scarborough and the 8xx series being registered in the S series were built at Falkirk,or is that completely wrong?

Further to the above,I notice that Arriva new E40's are registered YY.
Does this again indicate Scarborough built buses?
Are double and single dockers therefore built at both Scarborough and Falkirk and not one at one and one at the other?

Scarborough have built both E200's & E400's for some time, the link below gives you an idea of which batches of E400's Scarborough have built prior to the YY registration prefixes

I'd imagine next two to three weeks as they are 64 plates they can't be on the road until the start of september.

Had a ride on 758 and 759 on the 121 service both from west brom to oldbury,
758 very nice smooth ride until  you have to stop brakes seem harsh some adjustments required somewhere, didn't hear any rattling from the saloon area, from the cab I could hear cab door shield not much else, very good enviro 400 mini me.
759 as above but a lot more cab rattling going on disappointing to hear.

860 should be SN64 OEP
