Clearly this Sam is actually that Chris who we banned.

Goodbye Sam, well done on getting back but it never lasts long. Got yourself another ban! Well done.

Haha, I knew it! 😂😂 Good job, LS. 🙌

I'm not convinced, my money was on 'Jade/6013'

Well done! I must be honest if merc's had been mentioned more, I'd have assumed it was Jade/6013 or whoever who had access to a dictionary...

Are we sure Jade/6013 wasn't Christopher? My money for this one is on Christopher, he had a habit of never starting a sentence with a capital letter?

Yes, completely different people, with different IP's / fixed Internet accounts, samboulton87 was a 3 mobile internet account, the IP was very close to a previously banned new member thought to also be 6013, Winston
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

6013's standard of English was awful and, most of the time, incomprehensible. 6013 can appear as abrupt and feisty. It can't be 6013. :) Christopher, however,... likes to post shit posts.

Stu

'6013' is 'Jade Bendibuses' on my Facebook page. They can be spotted a mile off. He/she isn't a native English speaker, hence the sometimes incomprehensible posts!
Christopher/SamBoulton, I don't know what their game is, just seems like an over-excited kid who has just discovered internet forums and has to reply to every topic!

Nothing personal against either, just saying. And that's all I want to say on the matter.

Anyway, back to topic, I think it's certainly feasible that the 9 could see new buses at some point, which could see the current older Enviro400s get transferred elsewhere, say to replace older President or Spectra double-decks.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I would definetley think the 9/141 would be in line for new buses. I'm sure I read the Hagley Road will become a Gold Corridor?  I have heard that WN may have new buses next year (Most likely for the 126) so would make sense

I would transfer the 09 plate E400's out to another garage to replace older buses?  That could be to WN to replace Spectra's or even better to YW to replace the Presidents?

Or keep enviros and put tridents to wolves

Stuharris 6360

I think the problem is with the 9 is that whatever buses are used on it will accumulate high mileage.

"If" they do purchase new buses for the 9, my thoughts would be to maybe keep the Tridents which seem to work very well on the routes they are operating on & maybe send the Enviros to WB for use on the 74/87. Used with the Geminis on these routes, it would free up buses to replace some of the Presidents at YW/WB.

I can't see the 9 getting new buses for a couple of years yet, and I don't think it needs them - if they refurb the 48**s that haven't been done yet, they'll look new enough inside anyway. The Sutton Lines have only just replaced the 07/57 plates, which are two years older than PEs, and with the 48**s being the first E400s with the new grey interior, people probably won't notice the difference between these and a new vehicle, so I think they would be better off upgrading other routes where the buses wouldn't look identical, such as the 126.

Purely my own opinion though!

I completely agree, can't see the 9 being upgraded or PE getting any new deckers any time soon. Surely priority is WB, BC & AG
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

No my loal garage and sorry to go off topic but WB could do with some new buses fairly soon, ideally some deckers to place on the 82/87 which could displace the 06 Geminis (and the 53 plates that also appear) onto the Soho Road

Would have thought AG's Outer Circle 11 is one candidate for an early upgrade. How many buses on there. I remember there was a large batch of Geminis in 2004 at PB and AG. Is the PVR still the same?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
