Popped round to Pensnett this morning, withdrawn Mercs 1536, 1549, 1628 are still parked up, no sign of 1525 & 1639 after not being re-taxed.

Followed 4584 in to the depot which duly parked up in the yard

Does anyone have a full list of the contents of the bottom yard?

When would a vehicle taxed for 2013 but not for 2014 have its tax expire - is it simply January 1st?

I assume the tax on the PE Mercs expired on 31st Dec, tax runs until the end of a calender month

It depends on when the vehicle was registered.

For instance my car is Taxed until 31st October 14.

Because emissions are so low I can only buy 12month tax, but if emissions were higher, it can be paid every 6 months (and soon you can have it by DD every month)

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Yes i paid a visit to PE this morning & no sign of 1525 & 1639, surely they haven't been dispatched to MS already?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I wonder if WN have a daily working to PE for some reason as it is not uncommon to see a WN trident at PE mid morning ish?

I do recall a WN trident breaking down on Broad St in B'ham however it was towed all the way back to PL. Couldn't they have towed it to BC for repair seeming they have tridents from the same batch?

He said this only happens if it's drivable. If it needs towing it makes sense to get it bqck to its own garage

The 0950 255 from Wolverhampton did not run.  4001 took over the 1115 journey to Wall Heath at Merry Hill having arrived out of service.  Thus, I would guess that 4584 failed while operating the 0830 255 from Merry Hill and was taken to Pensnett.

Another smash.

I only say as there was one of our Trident's with a smashed up front on the Pershore Road yesterday. (And another one missing its N/S Mirror.)
