Has 1645 been withdrawn due to PE giving up on it mechanically or is there another reason?

I think they showed remarkable determination in trying to fix it but don't know exactly what was wrong with it. They even fitted a new engine in the past year!

They should dump 1648 next, I was on it two days ago and thought it was dreadful, sounded rough and has a very poor shaken up body. This was highlighted by how good the next two I travelled on immediately afterwards were, the superb 1540 followed by equally good 1515. Yesterdays highlights included another great bus in 1518.

You know now why they're my favourite pair of Mercs in the fleet! :)

I agree I've rode on 1515 & 1540 myself when they were at LH and I have to say Great Pair of Mercs ;)

i wonder if that is why 1642 has gone to WA for repaint and to have the LEDs from 1645 fitted?

Doubt it Stu, all the others were done at PE

Both 4198 and 4195 out on the 9 today.

4196 taken off the 246 and put onto the 140 around 11.45am in Dudley

The earliest it would happen would be once the 63-plate Enviro400s enter service; if I remember rightly they are for PB for an upgrade of the Sutton Lines? This will allow the 07/57 plate Enviro400s at PB to cascade to BC and Tridents and B7RLEs to cascade BC to PN.

Is that the plan or have I got it completely wrong?

Does the double decker on the 53/289 come from the garage, or is it out all day?

As 4199 came NIS into Merry Hill about 1.45pm and parked up, and put the 53 onto the display.

It should be out all day. Perhaps a bus had broken down.

I'm under the impression that it is an all day board that covers the school run. I have noticed that several times 2 deckers (Usually a trident and E400) are on there

Just noticed on the vosa website that from the 1st December there will be timetable changes to the 276, 222, 4/4H/4M and X96. Wonder what will happen - Surely it wouldnt be a frequency increase for the Christmas period would it? Is there enough buses?
