1540 is excellent! In a way its a shame the refurb program has stopped for the Mercs as some are great and seem like they could go on for a few more years, others though are very tired so in response to a question elsewhere I can't see the ones withdrawn seeing further use

I agree! ;) 1515 and 1540 are the best Mercs at PE (Matt will back me up on this one)

Just what i was thinking, saw 4199 tonight, so wondered if they had took 4135 to WA for refurb?

I haven't had chance to pop by the garage for a week or so, I'm thinking it may have gone for refurb, as I haven't seen it on the 246 for a while

Interestingly i saw a Trident in old livery at PE last Friday, but it had bright orange destination display (LED display), but didn't think it was 4135 because it hasn't got an LED display has it?

The last TWM livered Trident at Pensnett (if 4135 is in for refurb). I wonder if it will gain NXWM logos before repaint

Popped to PE today, no sign of 4135 although the shutters were down so you couldn't see what was inside.

Interestingly 829 was parked in the "dead box" in a similar position to where i saw it last week, plus as i was leaving 826 arrived so presumably the 222 was using something else today.

1638 was parked against the back wall with blinds wound to blank, i wonder if this is where buses are parked that are due MOT ???
