Also noticed 4196 on the 246 at Russells Hall's, at least half of the rear nearside windows looked all misted up unless it was etching? Looked a bit of a state....

It is etching/vandalism Winston. Had a ride on 4195 last week on the 246, that was just as bad, and looking at the windows on the others, they are all heavily vandalised, even 4193, recently refurbished. They do need sprucing up inside

It is not etching what Winston saw, it is the plastic coating on the window coming slightly unstuck. several WN tridents have the same thing where the coating has not been applied properly

Thanks Tony, I saw it driving past through the offside windows. It looked double glazed panels when the seal has gone & there's condensation between the two panes of glass

4202 is at pe Nathan, it arrived on the same day as 4196, however pe sent it straight to walsall paintshop.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

As I suspected earlier, the reserve fleet has been moved to allow for preparation work to be undertaken at the bottom of the extra plot of land.

The timber fence behind the reserve fleet has been removed, there is a large high skip on site (as you would find at a council tip), additionally security palisade fencing is currently been erected starting in the bottom corner which extends past the line of the timber fence & on to the plot of land behind the reserve fleet currently un-used. It does appear that extra strip was part of NX's package

582 is parked in the depot (so hasn't gone to WN, must have got my wires cross)

1645 was seen in service of the 205E

Interesting, i saw them putting some fencing up last week but just assumed it was to protect the Reserve Fleet, however now, i wonder now whether this extra space will still house the reserve fleet or will it mean extra routes & buses for PE??

The first section of fencing closes off the bottom corner and will protect where the reserve fleet was formerly parked (i.e. where 1504 was used to plug the gap), that run of security fencing now extend some way down on to the unused plot of land. I notice that gates have also been added on to the fencing where the entrance/exit to the staff car park/reserve fleet

544 Now parked against back wall at garage, presume it run it's last journey at PE.

I caught a glimpse of 544 in dudley bus station just after half 7 last night, must be the last enthusiasts sighting of it in service, end of an era

It may transfer to WN though with 508/554/5/581 already there so 544/582 will probably transfer over.

4218 may possibly be going to PE, after a major accident it may go to Walsall for a well deserved refurbishment and then onto bigger and better things. It was a poor sight to behold though.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Well with the rest of the E400 entering service at BC i thought PN were going to have 4218 anyway.

Indeed but I thought it was going up to and including 4202, from 4190? They're's your 12. And then 7 43's are going to make their way to "Yarlwood"...

4190-4202 is 13 buses not 12. That Means PE will have 12 tridents now (4193-4202 and 4218 and 4135

PE are only having 10 Tridents initially from BC (i.e. 4193-4202) + an 11th came from WN in the shape of 4135
