Even though the 61* are looking battered round the edges, why are they getting prioritised over the red and white E400's which look worse and in the old livery? Surely NX would want them of to repaint more of them into Crimson now?

Because it needed painting. It is only getting painted, not refurbished, but you know better than us.

Walsall hasn't been able to paint double deckers for months. Think they're still waiting for parts for the lift.

Yes, A complete new spray booth is going to be installed which is more energy efficient and capable of painting 15m coaches. B7RLEs are currently the longest vehicles that can be painted

Presumably once up and running the remaining Enviro deckers not in crimson will be so painted.

6110 now back at Pensnett fully repainted and reliveried. Needs an MoT before going back into service, so no 'exclusives' for a few days.
