Conflicting views this morning as to where the 0708 19E from Halesowen to Harborne is supposed to terminate. Timetables, bus stop info etc all shows it terminating at the Green Man but the driver this morning turfed remaining passengers off at the Lordswood Rd / Harborne Leisure Centre stop.

Then ran NIS to the Green Man in very heavy traffic to turn round!

This is copied direct from the running board.

Time shown is at Harborne, Lordswood Rd where this service terminates. Stops along Harborne High St are not served by this journey.

The service did look the island at the top of war lane and unload on the stand towards Dudley, thus meant passengers then had to cross over the busy road to transfer to other buses.

Thanks for the info. If that's the case then the timetables and information at bus stops needs updating - stops say that the journey terminates at Metchley Lane, the online NX timetable shows it finishing at Green Man.

If the bus has to crawl through Harborne rush hour traffic to the Green Man to turn around it might just as well continue in service to there in my view.

2 mins is all we're given to get down there, plus trying to turn around as the next journey is meant to start at the Green Man.

Good grief, it would take that long going flat out with no traffic. Weekday rush hour, no chance.

Why don't the buses after dropping off at the Old Duke of York stop go down Harborne Park Road and then down St Marys Road to get to the Green Man. Would be facing the right direction to come back too?

It's going to be 4306, 4308 or 4327, the only three (4 if you count 4328) red/white Tridents left at PN (4328 is recognisable as it has a Greatest Hits Radio all over ad). None of the remaining 43**'s there are compliant with Birmingham's emission zone (although i personally couldn't care less.. bus is a bus, i'm sure there are exceptional circumstances in place that means if it means mileage is not missed, and that it's swapped at the earliest opportunity).
