Well I'm bringing 731 down today for Pensnett, so there's another for people to moan about

I've heard half decent things about the Dundee E200s tbh. Are these going to be dedicated for the 28 or just mixed in with the other E200s?

Thing with E200s is the same with any type of bus, some are decent, some not as much.

The older reg e200s seem to be better build quality than the later ones

They're short one's, so will be on the 28 wherever possible. Needs WM radio and ticket machine fitting so won't actually be at Pensnett for a couple of weeks

Why does it have to be short? The 287 copes with normal length vehicles

The 14 it's also replacing has tight turns

It's the other way around.

The tender spec is any E200, but short ones aren't much good on other routes

Will 731 get repainted ??

The 14 was to be part of the other route wasn't it? Replacing the other half of the 250/251 which is no longer necessary as that's been registered commercially
Does I suppose raise the question of what with the 14 now?

Originally the 14 was going to become the 23 and merged with the 250/1. The 287 was to be numbered 28.

Then diamond registered the 250/1 partly commercial.

Because of this, the 14 is to be merged into the 28 running Halesowen to merry hill every hour, merry hill to Stourbridge via Sainsbury's every half hour.

The NX tender which covers the 287 and part of the 250 is going to be the 28 service

What part of this new route covers the 250 then?

None by the looks of it, the 28 is a through route of the 14 & 287 combined.

TfWM aren't going to pay to provide a tendered service over part of the 250 when Diamond have since registered it commercially.

Just seen 6103 on the Wolverhampton Ring Road being driven by an engineer. Looked to be off to WN garage, not sure why though.

Any views/comments are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.

It's 3 buses. First transfer into Pensnett on Friday
Will one of 733/4 be transferred from AG to PN for this route as well then?
