Actually the more and more you think about it, it's going to cause problems at both ends, I said cut the route in half which they are effectively doing, although the one end is extended to Dudley.

Whenever i have caught the 99, they are quite a few people who travel through the QE on it and so are going to need to change buses at the QE to complete there journey.

NX's solution maintaines the 10 minute frequency there and also maintains frequencies at every other bus stop, but hopefully making the service more reliable as well

But isn't it true that if the new 244 service is no more reliable, then NX won't care that much because it isn't in Birmingham. I can see the route between Dudley and Halesowen having buses running NIS because of late running.

@Trident 4194 it's just a link to QE which apart from the 142 the Dudley area hasn't got a direct link to the QE. And in regards to the full route not many people will use the full route but many people might use parts of the route like any other bus. Seriously I don't think you have a brain sometimes...

Changing a route to improve reliability does not mean it would fail because people do not use the full route. It would be more reliable but you just can't seem to understand that.

What you've been told isn't correct. The 244 is going to run Dudley to the Q.E Hospital.

Had a brainwave. Why not run 244 Dudley- merry hill- QE? That way both hospitals are pretty much connected

Both hospitals being connected would be very useful. Wouldn't change the route just add on.

How would it? So you'd do Dudley - Russells Hall Hsp - Dudley - Merry Hill - Dudley - Halesowen - QE  that's what you'd do, not change the route, just "add it on"
