To you as an enthusiast maybe not, but that's how your average punter would view them when they are used to newer buses. My mother took one of my daughters shopping in town the other day and commented how one of the dirty old buses had turned up (instead of the usual Hybrid). She can only have been referring to a Trident.

I'm not saying there isn't a valid business reason for having to substitute new buses for old on occasions, just pointing out that the general public wouldn't generally share your affection for Tridents.
