Now that there are only five of the 48xx (BX 09 P--) series Enviro 400s left at Pensnett (4806, 4811, 1814, 4818 and 4821), what is the regular allocation of the 141 these days? I imagine it's older Tridents, which is a bit of a downgrade to be honest.

Noit really a downgrade as Tridents are booked for these services.

The rest of the 48XX series will be transferred to PB ASAP.

It's a downgrade in the sense of it's gone from Enviro 400s to older Tridents, that's why it is booked for Tridents as there are hardly any Enviro 400s left at PE!

However, if the occasional MMC appears on the route then that's not so bad. To be honest, I don't understand why the MMCs were branded just for the 9, and not for the 141 also. It would have been nice for them to be allocated over both routes.

They are on both routes don't forget the 141 does the 140 and 241 as well
On Sunday's  the 141 is mmc operated

Tony only updates the site at the end of every month when the months changes are known from NE.

PE asked for new buses because of the mileage the old E400s were accumulating, they were meant for the 9 although they do appear on other routes.

More Tridents have arrived at PE over the weekend to allow more Enviros to be released plus 2105 arrived following the demise of 1706. Don't expect much more than Tridents or perhaps B7Rles on the 140/1/241 in the near future.

All down to circumstances dear boy. They are booked on the right routes at 2am but when trying to get a fleet out unforeseen circumstances play apart in the allocation.

Pensnett is also struggling with 829, 2087, 4347 & 6116 all currently missing, they do currently have an extra bus to try and help with this
