6118 on a late night 246 board today. I presume they are usually put on late boards if there is one on there?

This is what's really confused me:
Nx said on their website that the spare mmcs would go you use on the hagley road(140,141) so why are they put on the 246? Nx going against their words again

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

4201 was unusually on a night time 120 I caught her on the 21:30 from Colmore Row this is always a Volvo B7RLE so it was a pleasant surprise to see 4201 waiting at the bus stop for my journey home. I know the 120 has DD's on it but normally peak time or weekends so for her to be on a night time was to me unusual.

Departed Halesowen for Dudley on 241 at 13:05

Trident on 53

Not a single one of these is Noteworthy, 6120 is supposed to be used on the 140/1/241 when not required for the 9 and B7RLEs on the 243/4 and Tridents on the 53 are commonplace.

The mmc on the 140/141/241 is noteworthy because although nx stated they would be used on hagley road, the majority of the time the spare ones are on the 246. And you don't see an mmc on the 140/141/241 everyday!!!!!!!!!!!

B7rles on the 243/244 are not supposed to be booked on 243/244 due to narrow roads and there are enough e200s to cover all the boards! So it is noteworthy. I live on the route!!!!

I'm not sure on trident

The problem at PE @Trident 4194 is that the allocators don't seem to stick to the vehicle types that should be on a route, therefore in the past we have seen E200s & Tridents on the 9, deckers on the 120 etc etc etc. It's not really there fault, but if a bus is needed for the 9 early on the morning and the garage is full, and no MMC is near the front, they have to allocate the nearest bus. No point in moving 12 buses just to get at an MMC.

I can't think of a single route at PE (stand to be corrected) that sees just the vehicle type that it should do.

Although not noteworthy, Two MMC's are on the 140/141/241. I'm told 6119 is on

I was just thinking the same. The reason I didn't help you yesterday was you never actually asked! Yes someone else put a general question on, but as I have said before, I don't have time for long lists or every type of one vehicle. If instead of posting a load of posts of complete nonsense you put a simple request for a couple of buses I might actually have time to look them up for you. There are still no promises. I do a lot of jobs here for a lot of different managers and their work obviously comes before ploughing through lists of numbers for enthusiasts. - Tony

I did ask! I put it on buses to find thread the day before so that you could look for me in the morning. I understand you have other priorities but I do often find my posts ignored
