1526 forgot how truly awful the Dudley road branding on the mercs was. I remember getting into a lot of arguments over the every 5 minutes part of branding when the 89 was every 30mins. Tried to explain if you read it in full ALONG THE DUDLEY ROAD. Brain dead these people.

Forgot to post from this morning.

The reserve fleet yard is looking somewhat empty since the last time I saw it, PVS were picking up 1526 whilst I was there.

Stu has already posted that 1649 is currently parked alongside withdrawn 1648

Nothing new that I could see, currently being cleared of Mercs only at this stage.

There are 4 Mercs withdrawn in the top left-hand corner of the main depot yard 1549, 1633, 1648 & now 1649

Winston, isn't 1525 one of the 4 withdrawn Mercs in the top right hand corner?

1549 was still at Miller Street on 19th July anyway unless its been moved to Pensnett since.

am sure it is 1525 and 1633 in front with 1648 and 1649 parked behind.

For some unknown reason they are parking the withdrawn Mercs at the back of the garage, whether they are using them for spares for the remaining Mercs at PE i don't know?

PE is private property so keep off!  Although would you be able to see it from the gates?

If its parked in the bottom yard itself, you should be able to get pic from the gates or through the fence i would think.

What will be Pensnett's next batch of new bus? More Enviro 200/400 (Maybe Enviro 300 if nxwm decides to get them) or will it be cascades coming our way

Maybe some E200s for the 243/4, or otherwise maybe some more Tridents to finally get rid of the Mercs.

Have noticed a lot more B7rles on the 276 this week, presumably they are trying to keep the 243/4 Merc operated as long as possible.

Doubt nxwm will ever get enviro 500s. Only bus company with those in the country is first glasgow. Would be interesting to see if enviro 300 will ever make an appearance during these 5 years of 500 new bus from alexander dennis
