Maybe if they made that one bigger allowing services to be shifted out from West Bromwich. Services from Perry Barr shipped to West Bromwich, would they then consider shutting Bordesley??

Good idea yes, but that would involve a greater service reshuffle than NXWM probably want. It depends which service Pensnett would be best to have

Depending how big they make it they could:-

Move Dudley Road services and 74 to Pens.

Move 16 / 101 to West Brom

Move 17 to BC or AG

Move some AG duty's to YW???

Move 8 and 55 to PB.

I've seen the size of the new plot of land, which is the second unit they'll be acquiring? Is it the one of the ones on the opposite the garage, i.e. the end one where the drivers used to park/ unit backs on to the new land?

Im guessing routes 27/27A, 81, 82, 255, 256 and 257 would possibly be moved or some of those anyway

From working at NX I haven't heard any plans to move routes or vehicles into Penenstt in the near future.

But perhaps the Sandwelll review may well have some knock on effect on other garages than WB in the Autumn
