A slight correction to my original post that caused this mass of posts on here. The Business brief actually says the 48xx off the 9 route are transferring to Perry Barr for the 16 & 101. Only 22 including 4828/9 already there are transferring to PB. 7 are not going to PB

Ah, I see! Maybe they still need buses for other routes.

Or maybe they're going somewhere else? (it only says they're not going to PB). Just a thought.

Am sure Tony's post has changed since i saw it last night, I thought it said remaining 5 Enviros staying at Pensnett for the moment?

So I'm guessing pe will keep 4800-4807

4800 - 4804 i would have thought, they are gaining 22 new buses and losing 4805 - 4827 in my humble opinion! Remember 823 & 4190 replaced 4828/9.

That's 8 buses. It would be 4800-06

I don't think the post has changed, I think I've just interpreted it (maybe incorrectly) as 7 not going to PB meaning they could go elsewhere. It could equally mean they are staying put.

I don't think the post has changed, I think I've just interpreted it (maybe incorrectly) as 7 not going to PB meaning they could go elsewhere. It could equally mean they are staying put.

But having said this, if 7 of them do stay, I'd imagine 4817 being one of them. Sure, it'll leave a gap in the fleet, but it has been named after someone who is very keen of the particular bus - Edward Littlehales. Even though NX says that the name will remain on for the lifetime of the bus.

I say its 5 that will be left, remember that 4828/9 have gone and been replaced. so Current fleet is 4800 - 4827, of which 22 will be going to PB, leaving 5.
