As I have stated before the last steps , barring 3468/89/91 are at Wardle and possibly limited to schools services.  By Easter, 4545-7 will be the Arriva groups last closed-top Leyland Olympians when eight F/G/H reg LOs running for Shires are replaced.

Wardles had several out in service yesterday including an ex Hong Kong Olympian, not very often those get out in normal use

3468 is a cracking bus I drove it at Tamworth for a while alongside the Paladins and it stayed on and ran alongside the Omnilinks too. 3470 and 3489 were also with us before that, also good buses. Those NC bodied Scanias are built to last and lovely to drive. Be interesting to see if anyone buys them as I don't think they're ready for the breakers!

No, although allocated to Cannock on the company fleetlist it is not in use (or even taxed)

Bob

Oh, Cannocks 100% low floor then!

Proves a point dosen't it Bob everyone at the moment thinks Cannocks fleet is fantastic just as it has a few 61 plate buses.  The lorries under my control are 61 plate but as soon as they hit 500,000 km they are got shut of as thats when most of the major things start to go wrong they already are on 250,000 km and we are already allocated 6 new Daf Xf units for later this year and the company I work for is as big as Arriva and makes as much money so it proves it can afford fleet renews and it does not have the benefit of council subsidies or fuel tax rebates.

there is an old corporate livered scania in cannock this evening  looked like 3419 but cant be certain.

Its 3419, also in cannocks yard 2231, 2248 (I think),  unidentified Midland dart and 2353 looking withdrawn in the yard

NXWM Spectra

Excellent photograph opportunity, Telford's 3489 on 891 and likely to be on there all evening.

There must be a Versa shortage there.

Do take the opportunity to see it in service, it could be the last chance.

3489 working the 44? Last time I heard of a step-vehicle working the 44 was when H74DVM worked it.
This is a personal appeal... For Pete's Sake just save the #!@?$&% Scania's - don't let them follow the Dennis Falcons!

You know, a lot of branded Versas are never used on their proper route, now. For instance, the P & R Versas in Shrewsbury switch places with the normal liveried Versas. And, then, in Telford, you have the 61-plate Versas, branded for 481, but never on that route - always on something different, like the 44.
