From what I've seen and beleave  they have not had any durting the pandemic. I think it could be because it's operated by WMN and not NX, so the staff in that shop have been told not to give out any leaflets, or state otherwise why they can't They seam to be using technology instead of paper based anyway.

Is it going to re-open both ways? The current trend seems to be to make roads with cars parked on both sides one-way, i.e. Grange Road and Capethorn Road.

The withdrawal of the 80 also means longer journeys for Devonshire Road passengers into Cape Hill and City Centre, as well as to West Brom - at a lower frequency too

The timetable doesn't have the 80 on it just has the 80A on even when you click the 80 route it still has the 80A timetable where the timetable are and it says that it is withdrawn so that should mean that it is withdrawn

Yes, as it says all buses will serve the 80A route as they cannot serve the 80 route, still a 10 min frequency

To be honest, I'd have dropped the 80A and kept the 80 route number instead.

That could've been worded a hell of a lot clearer!

As the 80 is only temporarily suspended, meaning that all buses have to use the 80A route until the roads are back to normal, I can see the logic of keeping to 80A.

The alternative would have been renumbering the 80A twice - to 80 at the start of the change, then back to 80A at the end.

It also demonstrates the intention to restore the 80 in due course.

That's like Diamond with their 401E, there is no 'normal' 401 lol I've been told the history behind it but you'd think they would drop the E.

'Surprising Change' in my opinion.

Actually finding space in the main bus station for the X51 to Cannock & near to the 31/32 stop too!

(Bet there's no space for Arriva 2 though?)

Now if they can sort out the special 31/32 fares onto the X51 as well, then its sorted!

They won't do that as people would get on in Bloxwich with their 31/32 ticket and travel to brum.

They can't do it as the 31/32 is a WMB service not a NX service
