Unless they send some of the Broad Street services in to the City Centre the way the 23/24 go. Tennant Street, Bishopsgate Street, Bath Row, Holloway Head and Smallbrook Queensway.

Looks like into city they will go onto broad st from five ways into city then turn left into ryland st then right onto grosvenor street then sheepcoat st into city
Out of city from sheepcoat st , right onto grosvenor st , left onto friston st left onto Ladywood Middleway to five ways then normal way ( hagley road buses)

Just Checked Google maps isn't grosvenor St one way... So can only use it coming out of city

Why is the 6 being cut from Solihull station, is it capacity and traffic ?

It will still stop by the rear entrance of Solihull Station on Blossomfield Road anyway.
The majoirity of passengers tend to get on at Solihull Town Centre as well.

Is the 23 terminating at Newman Uni again? Thought it was moved from there because of the parking concerns.

According to a poster on the bus it seems so. It said Moors Lane won't be served anymore.

One of Acocks Greens 83X Enviro 200's came through Yardley yesterday along the to be extended 58 route showing "driver Training". Will these be used from 1st September?

The E200 MMC got very overcrowded (overcrowded to the point where it would be no longer possible to let any more people on) on the 58 on the 07:56 from Yardley Swan to Solihull, during school term time.

So if the shorter 83X were used on there, they wouldn't cope on that journey which is being extended, 07:27 from Kingshurst to Solihull.

More than likely just being used for the driver training. We used a B7 on the route learning for the 12A and 13, it's E400MMC's in service.

So it's been almost two weeks since the 58 got extended and I've just realised that it runs every half hour up until 2pm where it then runs hourly until 6pm. Is that because of the TFWM funding or was the old 59 not  frequently used by passengers after Yardley Swan?

You're probably right about passenger numbers at certain times. Passenger travelling patterns have changed radically, I remember when I was growing up in the 1970's and 1980's that there used to be a big increase in passenger numbers in peaks on Monday to Friday, a good example was the 33 which increased from around every 10 minutes in the main daytime, but increased to round every 5 minutes in peak hours, now it runs every 10 minutes all day. Workers hours have changed completely over the years. On Saturday's some routes used to be more frequent, again using the 33 as an example was every 7-8 minutes compared to every 10 minutes on Monday to Friday now the Saturday frequency is the same as Monday to Friday (every 10 minutes), now some routes are LESS frequent on Saturday's than Monday to Friday examples being Birmingham services 4, 4A and 6.
