Any idea what was wrong with it?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Not sure the engine cover was up though

Trident 4609

Seemed to be a problem with 4021 in Wolverhampton Bus Station. 5510 came off a 59 and replaced it on a 255

Saw 1627 on the Patch in Dudley, broken suspension  by the look of it, nearly scraped bumper off the ground

Alot of the mercs seemed to have gained a bit of lean.

Yeah, its funny when it malfunctioned and the N/S collapses fully and O/S is fully risen, the platform actually is about 3 inches lower then the castle curb. Good ole Mercs.

quite funny when you drive one like that and other people are flashing you to tell you about it, when you already know! The way to get the mercs suspension back to normal is to pump all the air out with the foot brake, and then it resets itself, until you you get 2 miles down the road and it starts to lean again......
an empty bus is a happy driver.

Always funny though. It reminds me of a malfunctioning lift for some reason.

Not only that but when they were parked in the yard and the air would drop they'd lean so much they'd actually touch the bus next to them!

4770 (branded for 997 so presume it was on it, destination was blank though) being loaded onto a Mansfield truck just now on Priory Queensway
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

1621 broken down in Halesowen off the 243/4 with bonnet up around 18:15. 1647 looked to be its replacement

For there age the WN tridents seem to be really unreliable is this due to them being overworked or just a bad batch where as the gemini and alx400 seem to be far more reliable and often older in some cases.

4594 has always been one of the worst for reliability. Almost laughed when I saw the fleetnumber

The majority are good but certain ones are just unreliable but nowhere as unreliable as Spectras

Also not a breakdown but 4817 was having performance issues on the 9 today. 4817 has always been a slow Enviro but at the moment it's the slowest at PN. Wondering if it's on 70% power like 4800 was for a while
