At about 11.30.a.m. 2023 and 4249 had apparently broken down in Upper Dean Street. 4249 was being connected to a towing wagon. It was causing quite a lot of chaos. People waiting for a 126 said it had been there for sometime. With digital blinds you can not tell which route a bus was on. Drivers used to generally leave at least the rear one unchanged. I guess 2023 was on the 126 and 4249 on the 16.

2023 was seen running private down Birmingham New Rd shortly before 1pm

4249 is at WB so would have been on the 80.

It had made it onto the 42/43 by 3pm so must have been fixed

4100 @ City Hospital

Which AG promptly sent a replacement bus out for to keep the service running, so 7026 is now on an all day board on the 11C, quite a rare working

Liberator9

Good work by AG there to get a replacement out so quickly - certainly rare to have a Scania on the 11C.

4532 looks like it's broken down on Trevor Road, judging by the driver's hand gestures whilst 1421 passed 4532, was heading to Walsall. Seen at 17:45.

4018 broke down this evening in Bilston, I presume it was supposed to do the 5:05 ex Bilston to Dudley, passengers were transferring to the 5:25 when I arrived, and the engineers arrived as the 5:45 left.

Didn't get the numbers on these yesterday, but I spotted a Blue Diamond Solo broken down in the north Lichfield estate it serves(I was coming past on a X25 towards City!), plus while coming back to Walsall on a 35, I saw the Arriva Cannock support vehicle attending to a Dart on the Lichfield Road before you get to Rushall.

(Thinking about it, apart from the 35 & X35, no other Arriva route uses Lichfield Road in Rushall past the Barns Lane turn off do they, & I'm pretty sure it was past the Rushall Lane, for Pelsall services, turn off too, so what was a Cannock vehicle doing in that location?)
