Red and white 54 reg Trident on the 937A tonight

I've been told it's 4598. Will do the 22:17 937A from Birmingham and 23:17 short 937A from Brownhills West to Kingstanding.

I love Walsall buses

Been a right mixed variety on the 51 today...

Along with a couple of the usual E40D's, 4604, 4605 and 1841 ended up on the 51 today. Also Platinum's 6721 and 6729 were put on the 51. I also heard 4599 was also apparently meant to be on the 51, but I believe one of the Platinum's swapped it before it got into service. 4604 was swapped with the other Platinum.

Not sure where to put this, as there's no thread for generic publicity(unless its worth starting one in General Discussion, but as I was on a certain Wa route, this seemed the best place!), but I've spotted stop posters for the Nbus versions of the local tickets in Bradford Place(Walsall) & the Parkway stop(Dudley/Sandwell).

Aint these been available for a few months already?

How come its taken so long to publicise them?

I love Walsall buses

Not sure where to put this but this thread sounds ok I was in Walsall and an inspector in the main bus station was shouting at a driver to get the bus out as he was out of his cab and I never seen I person move a bus so quick. in my 11 years I never seen an inspector shout at a bus driver

4607 on 936. Parked up at Bull Street.

Not "Noteworthy" in the week @WestMidlandsTravels...4594-96 and 4606-09 are regularly used in the week on WA's Birmingham routes. The journey you saw it actually tends to be a non Platinum quite often.

I love Walsall buses

So I tried to make a display with the 29 this is how it went

I love Walsall buses

Has the 952 moved to Walsall yet

Sh4318

Are they likely to run 'placing' journeys on the 51 to get the vehicles over to the 952 route or is it going to be dead mileage to & from Walsall?

(An idea I had when I was coming back from Brum the other week, was perhaps Nx could take on the Walsall 74 & extend that route to Great Barr, similar to what happened with the 76 & 934, linking up with the existing 952 route!)

Do we know if the allocation will change also?

No, will still be allocated OmniLinks. Wouldn't be surprised though if other buses made an appearance at times

No there are no positioning journeys. All boards start at Hassop Road and finish there or at Perry Barr Station

In the nicest way possible
No
Just. No
The 74 (old 374/378/whatever) was/is never anywhere near as busy as the 76 (376) was
It's just a local thing for local people, the 376 was a fairly well used inter-suburban service

Personally the Beeches estate would be better served by a service along Aldridge Road and the length of Thornbridge Avenue and up to the Scott Arms. But hell 30 years living in the area my opinion is just as an armchair enthusiast...
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

@WestMidlandsTravels E400's aren't noteworthy on the 997 at all, they are used daily as there's never enough Platinums.

4870 was on the Streetly's today. Saw it on the 934 earlier.
