Thanks @Wright liberator, I caught 1750 at the 22:05 departure ex Walsall.

I know it was only a rumour, but any truth behind the X51 getting a frequency increase? Because it needs it quite badly at peak times, 18:25 ex city journey hardly ever stops at the Children's Hospital stop because it's over crowded, and that isn't even the busiest time. Morning services regularly miss out Tower Hill and Perry Avenue. And if there's ever problems on the trains from Walsall then naturally everyone piles onto the X51, leading to reports of an all out non stop journey because it's full and standing from the bus station.
Meanwhile the Kingstanding buses and the 997 go past half full...
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Was this not mentioned in the "Proposed Service Changes" thread were their proposed changes were forwarded to NX for review ?

I found a quote in the "New Platinum services?" thread.

There's rumours that WA are getting 4 more platinums with the x51 been upped to every 7 mins

Don't know whether that will actually happen or not.

BU07 LGO

That's what I heard and apparently that's why Walsall are getting another 5 platinums?

In other WA news I've been told they've started fitting microphones in the cabs of the scania omnilinks so wouldn't be surprised if it happens at other garages too :(

Is the 937 being extended to replace the X56?

Just a few peak journeys I think, it's part of the consultation where passengers can give their opinion on which route it will take (via rising sun and hednesford road or via 10 route from tinman island)

1843 is one that's been done apparently

I take it that the other types of buses (Enviros, Volvos etc) will have them fitted too?

It would seem logical. Sadly
