What's the story behind 4260s interior? Downstairs is refurbed in original style moquette but upstairs is threadbare and badly etched?!

4260 was a very early repaint dating back to 2009 while at BC.Repainted but not refurbished.
4260 was done while at Walsall alongside 4308 4332 4304 which also as new old style seating.

4260 4304 4128 could do with a repaint.

Thanks, it's strange how the upstairs looks untouched though but downstairs is quite respectable

Did the evening X56 run from Birmingham today? As I got the 16:50 X51 into Birmingham and whilst waiting for the 937 I didn't see it pull in. Is it running late?

It should have been 4299, but that is stuck in Brownhills due to the overturned lorry and is running 1h40 late.

But you don't expect NX to completely abandon a route & passengers do you? 4328 has been nicked off another board, but due to all the chaos is still running 30 min late on the X56

Saw it pass me earlier 'Not In Service' after I posted. I thought it was weird I didn't see it as it's once a day and if it doesn't run, people are stranded. Good to hear they got home anyway.

Can I ask, how does work i.e taking a bus off 1 board onto another, doesn't it deprive that route of a bus, if that route gets a replacement (Which is what I'm thinking) why not use that bus to begin with ?

its usually off a route like the 301 where a missing bus wont cause so much issues as its frequent

4328 was used on its way back to garage anyway, so no loss

Recently repainted 4105 should put an appearance in Birmingham City Centre this evening, it is currently on running board 10-07 which does the 16:50 Walsall-Birmingham X51 and then the evening X56

First time 1750 in crimson has been on another route other than 301/2  just started rt89 dep walsall 20:05 & 22:05 dep Wolverhampton 21:05 & 23:05
