Former Rotala SR171 is now on loan to Walsall for a couple of week for driver familiarisation. This one is not expected to be used by Walsall. Initially it is the current Whittles Levantes that will be on loan.

SR171 was chosen as it is identical to the Whittles vehicles

Walsall's first day operating coaches is this Sunday (11/1) initially using some of the Whittles coaches hired from East Yorkshire and two coaches borrowed from Sipson Road

Not true, 1771 & 1787 have operated all journeys on the 89 today between them. All 6 were in the garage when I popped in earlier and none are showing as being used

I gather, thanks to a loud radio, that at least 2 Walsall drivers came a cropper this morning due to ice in the depot(one of them being my friend's sister!)!
