Quote from: Jack on October 01, 2024, 09:01:08 PMThey are Euro 6 and are allowed to be used, same goes for the Tridents that can be used. I've been seeing WB Geminis commonly on their B'ham services ever since all the Platinums arrived. Not noteworthy when they are Euro 6 and allowed in.
Our opinions differ

As someone who catches the 80 almost everyday, I've definitely been seeing the Geminis less.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen an '05 plate in weeks, I thought it was just the non-Euro 6 ones that were going? Happy to be corrected on that

@MSU2008 Platinums are not noteworthy on the 74.

@MSU2008 , Geminis are not noteworthy on the 12/13's and neither are E200MMC's on the 80.

In fact most of what you post as noteworthy is not noteworthy!

We don't always agree on things but I am 100% with you on that

As I've said previously, Geminis days are numbered on City routes so as far I am concerned they are noteworthy.

There's always a few on the 12/13's everyday.

Okay so in your sense shall we mention every Gemini that appears on any service because they don't have long left?

They may not have long left but they are compliant for the City Centre and allowed to venture in. Does the forum need spamming everytime they are on City services?

Perhaps you would both like to volunteer to help update and maintain the 'usual allocations' list for me, based on your extensive knowledge of what the actual allocations are.

Or maybe someone would like to start a new list from scratch, and save me the bother.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Or change it all to 'it's a bus on a bus route' that's what most the comments seem to be. I think the whole thread is pointless these days. Time to retire it.

And the Route Branded Buses Off Route thread. It's just as noteworthy to see them on the route they're branded for these days.

@MSU2008, E200MMC's aren't unusual on the 12/13...

They are actually to be fair

They are quite common during the weekdays, I tend to see at least one of them are there.

It's a bus on a bus service. I don't see those that interesting. Full size single Decker on a full size single decker route, not really noteworthy at all.
